The Artist-in-Residency Program 2025-26 invites applications from artists working in any 2D medium to apply for an enriching residency experience designed to fuel creativity and foster artistic growth.

Set in the heart of Uttar Pradesh, known for its rich culture, architecture, food, language & artistic heritage, this program provides a unique setting to inspire your work while offering an atmosphere that nurtures creativity.

Artists will have the chance to exhibit their works at the end of exhibition through open studios, reaching a wider audience and receiving critical feedback, also any sales happen during this would be fully going to the Artist itself, there would be commission on sale.
Who Can Apply
Currently this residency program is open to only International artists.
Visual Artists in any 2D medium (Painting, drawing, any mixed media etc.) working in any medium & style.
Artists committed to their art and seeking an opportunity for focused creation & learning.
Both emerging and mid-career artists are encouraged to apply.

What We Offer
Inducing Environment: A serene and inspiring atmosphere designed to boost your artistic practice.
Living & working space with shared accommodation on twin share basis with self cook facility in Kitchen, including:
Housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and maintenance throughout your stay.
Self use laundry.
Common Studio space.
Secure environment.
Wireless internet access.
City Heritage sight-seeing.
Airport pick - drop.
Invitation Letter for VISA processing.
Community engagement through workshop and demonstration.
Open studio after the residency.
What Is not included
VISA Fees & Travel expenses
Medical / Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is optional, however it is very important to have one. It provides financial protection against unforeseen events such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and travel delays. It helps ensure that you won't lose money and face high medical costs while traveling.
Art Materials
Local Transportation during the residency period. (Though we will support in arranging local conveyance if anyone needed)
Fooding expenses: Artists need to arrange their fooding on their own or they can cook by themselves in the provided kitchen.
Fees & Funding
Applying to the residency 2025-26 program is free, there are no application fees involved.
A fee of 500 USD is applicable to the selected applicants.
Presently the Residency program is self funded, but artists are free to apply for funding/grants through their personal sources at their respective places. If so, we would be happy to provide a letter regarding this.
Application Requirements
Artists need to choose a session of residency at the time of application and if any artist wishes to apply for 2 sessions are also welcome to apply, they need to clearly mention choice of sessions.
Proposal: Describe the project you wish to pursue during the residency (max 500 words).
Artist Statement: Sharing your artistic process and vision (max 300 words).
Portfolio: Submit 10 images of your recent work (images in single PDF file would be encouraged).(Ensure all files are properly labeled with the name of applicant and all images in portfolio must be labeled as: [Name_Tiltle of Artwork_Size_Year of creation_Medium])

Note: Once an application is submitted, it can not be edited or re-submitted, Carefully review and submit your application as incomplete applications will not be considered and they are assumed to be rejected.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of selection committee and selected
candidates will be notified via email.
Residency Session: November, December 2025, January, February, March 2026
